CSR - a concern for others
We believe that businesses have a great opportunity and responsibility to use profit to make a wider difference in Society. Following a visit to Uganda in 2006, we have committed 10% of the value of all our orders to go to a school in Masaka which caters for children, mainly AIDS orphans, who suffer with speech and hearing impairments. Our giving is done through the well established charity, WeSeeHope.
Energy Conservation
We actively promote the energy saving attributes of curtains and other window treatments. It has been calculated that good quality blackout lining when added to curtains and roman blinds can reduce heat loss through windows by as much as 30% and interlining further adds to the saving.
Carbon Footprint
We actively seek to minimise the carbon footprint of the business, by focussing our advertising and marketing on the County of Gloucestershire and Cotswolds area. As a result 95% of our business comes from within a 20 mile radius of Stroud where we are based, significantly reducing the transportation of fabric and finished products.
We operate in as paper-free a way as possible with invoices, quotes, terms & conditions and correspondence carried out by e-mail wherever our customers have e-mail addresses. Our web-site is our "shop window" and e-marketing is our primary method of promotion and advertising, again resulting in a minimum of paper based literature.
Re-cycling
We re-cycle everything we can from the business including, paper, cardboard, batteries and printer cartridges. We generate significant amounts of fabric off-cuts which we donate to an organisation who provide employment for folks with learning difficulties or who are long-term unemployed who make fabric bags from the materials.

Our mission is to produce high quality hand made curtains, roman blinds and other home decor accessories, which results in loyal customers who are delighted by the service we provide and happy to recommend us to others. We get so much pleasure when we receive comments like "the service you offer is second to none" and "I will use your helpful and friendly service again".
