Made to Measure Lined Curtains

The addition of a lining to made to measure curtains not only improves their look and is energy efficient but also prolongs their life, particulalrly by protection from direct sunlight. There are choices of type of lining fabric as well as weight and colour. Typically blackout lined curtains for bedrooms and thermal lined curtains for living areas, especially if north facing. Linings can be applied to most curtain headings and it is important that lined curtains are dry cleaned as lining and curtain fabric may shrink at different rates. The same applies for made to measure roman blinds.
